Does anyone else find it suspicious how little information there is about the other residents of 614 Queen Street at the time of David's murder? I've been digging around, and it seems like there should be more focus on who might have been coming and going from the house that night. Considering the investigators' theory about a possible drug connection, it's surprising that there haven't been any major leads about the people who were there. My heart goes out to Diane Peak Jones—she's a true warrior for turning her pain into advocacy. But it makes me wonder if there's pressure on local law enforcement to close cases quickly back in the day without thorough investigation, especially in neighborhoods with drug activity. Can anyone shed more light on this?
I've been following the case of David "Butch" Bullock, and I can't help but feel for his family, especially his mother, Diane. I recently read about her involvement with Parents of Murdered Children, and it's truly inspiring how she's turned her pain into strength to support others. It must bring her some comfort to help other families, even while seeking justice for Butch. Does anyone know more about how these rooming houses operated back in '97? Do the authorities have any leads on the people who lived there at the time? It's frustrating that after all these years, we're still seeking answers. Sending love and support to Diane and anyone who knew Butch. Hoping for a breakthrough in the case soon.
Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled upon the case of David Barry "Butch" Bullock while reading up on unsolved crimes, and it really struck a chord with me. The fact that his murder remains unsolved after all these years is so incredibly frustrating. I can't imagine the pain his family has gone through, especially his mother, Diane Peak Jones, who's been actively helping others even amidst her grief.
One thing that's been on my mind is the rooming house where Butch was found. It seems like a critical piece of the puzzle. I wonder how thoroughly the residents were interviewed? Given the suggestion of a possible drug connection, there might have been people in and out who weren’t on the original radar.
I really hope that someone who knows something might come forward after all this time. Every little detail can matter in these cases. It's sad knowing that Diane and Butch's family are still waiting for answers, and my thoughts are with them. If anyone has thoughts or insights on hidden dynamics in places like that rooming house, it would be interesting to hear.
Fingers crossed for justice one day.
