Hey everyone,
I've been following the Jerry Barnette case from Gastonia, and I'm really moved by how his family and the community have been dealing with his murder all these years later. It's been 20 years since he was taken from them, and it's troubling to think there hasn't been closure yet. Does anyone have insights into why the police might be keeping details under wraps? I imagine there could be strategic reasons related to ongoing investigations, but it's tough for those of us keeping Jerry's story alive to see progress when things are so quiet.
I hope that someday soon, someone comes forward with information that could help solve this case. In the meantime, I'm sending thoughts to those who knew and loved Jerry, and I really admire your strength.
Has anyone else been digging into the Jerry Barnette case from 2003? It's frustrating how little information there is out there. I can't imagine how his family must feel after all these years without answers. The fact that there's almost no public info on suspects or motives just adds to the mystery. I keep thinking about that period in Gastonia—there was so much violence then. Surely someone saw something or knows something that could help break this wide open. Sending all my thoughts to his loved ones; they deserve closure. I'm hoping someone out there has a piece of the puzzle that can finally bring some justice to Jerry’s case.
