Have any of you looked into Jackson Wade Orvin's case in detail regarding the scars he had? It’s interesting that they’ve got such specific descriptions of his identifying marks, like that half-moon scar above his right eye and the burn scars on his left arm. I wonder if any of these could help us figure out what might have happened to him. Scars like those could be distinctive enough that someone, somewhere, might recognize them, even if he doesn’t look the same anymore. It's been decades, so a change in appearance is likely, but scars like those would be hard to miss or forget. Could be worth putting more focus on these distinguishing features when reaching out to older contacts or revisiting areas he was known to frequent. It feels like a long shot with how much time has passed, but maybe there's still someone out there who remembers seeing those scars on a man in Naples around that time. Any thoughts or leads on this angle?

Does anyone know if there were any leads or updates regarding the store Jackson Wade Orvin last intended to visit on June 6, 1984? I'm curious about whether investigators ever checked with employees or if there were any known security cameras in the area back then. I know it was the '80s, so the technology wasn't like today, but maybe there’s something overlooked that could be revisited with fresh eyes? I feel like a lot of disappearances have had breakthroughs from revisiting old leads or witnesses who remember something new as the years pass. Any thoughts on this angle?

Does anyone know if there was any kind of community event or gathering in Naples around June 6, 1984? Sometimes people disappear without a trace when they're in crowded spaces, and I wonder if Jackson could have gotten caught up in something like that. Maybe there was a festival or a big event that drew a lot of people, making it easier for something to go unnoticed. It's just a thought, but sometimes these details can lead to clues that aren't immediately obvious. Maybe someone from the area at the time remembers something unusual about that day. Any locals around here remember or have family members who might remember something?
