Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Immanuel Lamare Green and the two other young people who lost their lives that night, and something that's been on my mind is the community response—or the lack thereof. It's been over a decade, and I can't help but wonder why more people haven't come forward with information.
We often talk about how tight-knit neighborhoods are and how they look out for one another, but in this instance, silence seems to have prevailed. Did anyone in the area hear or see something and feel just too afraid to speak up? Or has the passage of time made memories murky?
My heart goes out to the families of Immanuel, Jose, and Shemica. Waiting so long for answers must be unimaginable. I hope that with continued attention, someone who's been holding back information will find the courage to speak up. These young lives deserved so much more. Let's keep hoping for justice and peace for their loved ones.
Does anyone else remember hearing anything from that area or even from word of mouth around the time this happened?
I've been following the case of Immanuel Lamare Green and the tragic events of that night on Eastwood Drive. One detail that's been bothering me is the timing. Why were they in that particular area at 2:35 a.m.? Was there any specific event or gathering happening nearby that night?
I can't help but think about the families. Imagining getting a call at that hour and rushing to the hospital only to lose all hope is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. It’s so devastating that there are still no answers for their loved ones even after all these years. Really hoping that someone, even if they've been silent for so long, comes forward with something that can help piece things together.
If anyone knows more, or if there's been recent news, please share. Keeping my fingers crossed for justice for Immanuel, Jose, and Shemica.
It’s been so many years, and yet we still have no answers for the families of Immanuel, Jose, and Shemica. I can’t even imagine the pain their loved ones feel every day from losing them and not knowing why or who could have done something so awful. I’ve been really curious about the location of the incident—3201 Eastwood Drive. Does anyone know if that area had a reputation for crime back then? Or was this completely out of the blue? Maybe someone familiar with Charlotte around 2005 can shine some light on what it was like. It just seems unreal that no one has come forward with any solid leads after all this time. Would love to hear any thoughts, especially if it might help spark new ideas or leads that could assist the police in getting justice for these young people.
