Has anyone else found the timing around Mr. Petritz’s disappearance weird? It’s like everything was set up for the trip, but he never even packed his suitcase. I wonder if something happened before he could leave Arizona. Maybe someone close to him had a reason to stop him from going on that business trip? It just seems strange that everything was left behind in his apartment. Almost like he never intended to go, or something suddenly prevented him. Any ideas about what could have gone down last minute?
Has anyone looked into John Petritz's professional connections in Arizona? Since he never made it to Colorado and his stuff was still in his apartment, it makes me wonder if something happened with someone he worked with in Arizona. Maybe there were work disputes or personal issues that could have made him change plans at the last minute, or worse, made him hostile to someone. It’s been nearly four decades, and I wonder if anyone he worked with back then had suspicious ties or anything off. All theories welcome!
