I was reading up on Patricia Real’s case again, and there's something about that black Mongoose Rockadile mountain bike that just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s been over two decades, yet the DNA found on it hasn’t led to any answers. I know DNA technology has come a long way, and the fact they got a profile is significant, but why hasn’t it matched anyone yet? I keep thinking about how her past associations with people in questionable circles could play into this. It’s a long shot, but maybe the person responsible isn’t in the database because they’ve never actually been caught for anything else? It’s tragic to think that piece of evidence, once thought to be a major lead, still hasn't brought Patricia's family any closure. It must be incredibly frustrating knowing there’s DNA evidence but no match—and worse, no justice for Patricia. My heart goes out to her loved ones who continue to live with this uncertainty.
