I've been reading up on some old cases, and the tragic story of Nola Belisle caught my attention. I can't stop thinking about how dedicated she was to her community, walking all that way to help others. It's devastating to know that her charitable spirit was met with such a senseless act. One thing that puzzles me is the broken mirror and turn signal from a Ford pickup left behind. You'd think that someone would remember a damaged truck like that or at least come forward over the years. It must be incredibly frustrating for the investigators and even more so for Nola's son and friends. I really hope someone still out there with information decides to speak up so her family can finally find some peace.
