I've been following the Mindy Tran case for years, and one aspect that's always haunted me is the role the community played in the search efforts when she first disappeared. It's genuinely moving to see how hundreds of people united to search for her, schoolmates of Mindy, their parents, and neighbors side by side, desperately trying to bring her home safely. It shows just how tight-knit the Okanagan community was, and how deeply Mindy's disappearance impacted everyone. People really showed immense generosity and kindness during those dark days, and I often think about how her family must have found at least a small comfort in knowing that the community was behind them, hoping and praying for her safe return. Has anyone here from Kelowna or nearby participated in those searches or remember what it was like during that time?
