It breaks my heart to think about the time she spent away from her infant son, hoping to give him a better life, only for things to unfold like this. I keep wondering about that night when she was last seen leaving the Discovery Inn. Did anyone see her leave with someone? Could she have met someone new in Yellowknife that might have had other intentions? The delay in reporting her missing and the slow initial response speak volumes about how these cases were often handled in the past. We can't overlook the impact that systemic issues have had on investigations like this one, and I sincerely hope that the RCMP eventually provides the Lennie family with some clarity. It's not just about justice for Mariella anymore; it's about ensuring this doesn’t keep happening. Thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones who continue to seek answers.
