Has anyone else been thinking about the significant gap between Dora's disappearance in 1979 and the discovery of her remains in 1996? It makes me wonder about the challenges the investigators must have faced during all those years. The area where her remains were eventually found—so close to her mother’s house—must have been incredibly haunting for everyone who knew her. I can't imagine the pain and uncertainty her family endured all that time, not knowing what happened to her. It's just awful. The community must have felt such a mix of emotions when the remains were discovered, a bittersweet moment of finally having some answers but still no justice. I hope that, with ongoing advancements in forensic science, there's still a chance Dora's family will get the closure they deserve. Has anyone heard if there's been any recent progress in the case?
