I’ve been reading through the case details of Pauline Ivy Dudley, and something that's been on my mind is the method of concealment at the scene where she was found. I mean, the effort it must have taken to partially bury her under hay and wheat is unsettling. From the perspective of someone trying to understand this crime, it seems like whoever did this wanted to buy themselves some time before she was discovered. Do any of you think there's significance in how she was hidden? To me, it suggests that the person was somewhat familiar with the area and possibly knew how long it might be before someone stumbled upon the spot. Also, what’s really concerning is that there was no robbery involved – her wallet left behind speaks volumes. It feels like a very personal and intentional act. I can’t imagine the pain her family must have felt then and continues to feel now. Anyone got thoughts or theories about what might have driven this person to commit such a terrible act?
