I’ve been revisiting Marilyn Sue Koski’s case and something about her leaving those notes just doesn’t sit right with me. I mean, sure, they might suggest suicide, but there’s just no evidence supporting that possibility. Over three decades later, no body, no belongings, nothing has been discovered. Does anyone else wonder if there might be more to this? Maybe she decided to start anew and was really meticulous in her plan. A houseboat on the Willamette River seems like the perfect place for someone wanting to disappear without leaving a trace. Just throwing some thoughts out there—what do you all think could have happened? Could she have left on her own accord, or is there another explanation?
Has anyone looked into the local community around where Marilyn was living at the time? I mean, living on a houseboat feels like such a unique situation. I've been thinking that someone in the boating community might have noticed something or might have seen her right before she disappeared. It’s weird to me that she managed to vanish without leaving any substantial evidence or clues, especially after leaving those notes. Maybe there’s more to discover there, like other boaters or people who regularly visited the docks? Wondering if anyone has explored that angle fully or if it was just accepted that the notes were conclusive.
Has anyone else been following the Marilyn Sue Koski case from 1989? I was reading about her living on a houseboat on the Willamette River, and I find it so eerie that she just vanished without a trace after leaving those notes. I know law enforcement hasn't found much evidence since she disappeared, but does anyone know if they've used any modern technologies on her case recently, like sonar searches in the river? It just baffles me that someone can disappear like that, especially from such a unique location. It's almost as if the river itself swallowed the truth. Would love to hear any thoughts or recent updates if anyone has them.
