I was reading about the tragic case of Josue Sandoval-Aguilar recently, and it's been on my mind ever since. It's so devastating that his family still doesn't have answers, even all these years later. What really stands out to me is how this case reflects the larger issue of unsolved homicides in Charlotte at the time. It’s troubling how many families were in similar situations, hoping for a breakthrough that just didn't come quickly enough. Does anyone remember if there were any community initiatives back then to address this spike in violence or provide support for the victims' families? It seems like the community must have been really shaken by these events. I'm curious if any efforts were successful or if there's anything like that happening now. Thoughts and prayers to Josue's family—I hope they find the answers they need soon.
