Has anyone else noticed how cases like Ricardo Jerome Pimentel's seem to just fade into obscurity? It's been over three decades and we’ve barely seen any updates. What makes it even more puzzling is how someone can just vanish without a trace in a busy area like Davenport. I’ve been following a few other cases from around that time, and it feels like these late '80s disappearances often lacked the media coverage or investigative pressure needed to keep them in the public eye. Does anyone here know what the initial investigation entailed? Were there any searches, or did they hit a dead end from the get-go? My heart goes out to his family—I can’t imagine the impact of living with so many unanswered questions for so long. If anyone has insights or local knowledge from back then, it would be great to hear more.
