I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy will have on Alliyah's children. Starting a new school year should be a time of excitement and new beginnings for them, but now their lives have been completely upended. It's unimaginable to think about how they will cope with such a loss at such young ages. I truly hope they have a strong support system to help them navigate through this incredibly difficult time. The community definitely needs to rally around them and offer any support they can, whether it's through counseling resources or just being there to listen. It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to pay attention to signs of domestic abuse. Maybe more awareness and intervention could prevent situations like this in the future.
