It's really hard to believe that we're still talking about Rarnisha Woods' case all these years later without any real closure for her or Jamarcus Umstead's families. I came across an article today that made me wonder about the community's sense of safety back then. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for people living in that area, knowing there were no answers. If anyone here was around Durham at the time, I'm curious if there was any increased police presence or community efforts to try to bring some sense of normalcy back? I just hope that someday soon, both families will find the answers they deserve and can finally have some peace.
