Has anyone else looked into the backgrounds of the suspects involved in the Carlos Ramirez case? It's truly unsettling to think about how people with such extensive criminal histories were still out there. I read somewhere that both Alex James Barnett and Santiago Jorge Rogers had a laundry list of prior offenses. It's baffling and so frustrating to see the same names popping up in violent crimes over and over again. Makes you wonder about the system, doesn't it? How do individuals with these records manage to walk free and eventually escalate to something as tragic as this? I'm not saying every person with a criminal history will engage in violence, but we need to address these patterns before they lead to more senseless loss. My heart goes out to Carlos’s family and his fiancée. The justice system needs to do better for them and their child. Let’s keep the focus on the victim and support his loved ones through this process. If anyone has more information or thoughts on how we can improve the system to prevent people with violent histories from striking again, I'd love to hear them.
