Did anyone notice the focus on the fact that Jacqueline was just making buffalo chicken dip for her neighbors the night she was killed? It sounds so mundane, yet it's such a poignant reminder of the life she was living just hours before this unimaginable tragedy. My heart goes out to her neighbors and friends in the Bedford Dwellings community who knew her just as someone trying to share a moment over a warm dish. I can't help but think about the nature of the person who would do something like this and flee. It's disconcerting how someone can seem so normal, interacting for a simple exchange of cream cheese, and then this happens. I really hope the authorities make headway in identifying and capturing whoever's responsible. It's a small comfort, but her community deserves answers and justice for Jacqueline.
