Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving into some old cases, and Wes Burks' murder has really caught my attention. It’s so unsettling to think about how, even after all these years, his family hasn’t seen justice served. What I find particularly intriguing is how similar Wes’s case is to the others tied to Nathaniel Code. The brutality and method are eerily similar, but still, there wasn’t enough evidence to charge Code for Wes's death.
Imagine being a part of Wes’s family, knowing that the person you suspect is responsible is out there being convicted for other crimes, yet never officially linked to your loved one's case. I can’t begin to imagine how frustrating and painful that must be. It’s these unresolved threads that keep communities like ours digging for answers, hoping to bring some closure to the families left in limbo. Does anyone else have thoughts on what specifically made Code a suspect in Wes's case, yet not enough to push for charges? It just baffles me how lines can be so clearly drawn yet justice remains so elusive.
