Was anyone else surprised to learn that Richard may have gone to the San Bernardino Mountains after he went missing? I was reading more on his case, and it struck me as interesting because the area is pretty vast and rugged. It got me thinking, what was his connection to the mountains? Did he visit often, or was there a particular spot that he frequented? It seems like a tough place to search given the terrain and all the wildlife. For those who are more familiar with the area, do you think there are specific places authorities might not have considered yet? It's haunting to think he might be out there somewhere still undiscovered. Any thoughts or insights into this aspect of his disappearance?
