I've been following the horrible events in Amarillo, and it's truly difficult to wrap my head around what Courtney May Holman's family and friends must be going through. As I've learned more about that tragic day, one thing that stands out is the chaotic nature of the shootings. It's unsettling to think how a single person's violent actions can create such devastation across multiple locations. I can't stop thinking about the home on Northwest 14th Avenue where Johnson drove into the house and started shooting. Imagine being in your own home, a place that should be a haven, only for it to become a scene of terror in an instant. The ripple effect of fear and trauma on that neighborhood must be profound. I'm wondering if there are any community efforts or support systems being put in place for the residents affected by these events. It seems so important right now for the community to come together to help heal after such a senseless act of violence. If anyone has information on ways to get involved or support the victims' families, please share. My thoughts are with everyone impacted by this tragedy.
