I can't stop thinking about the tragic loss of Kiana and how this should never have happened. It's so hard to wrap my head around how someone could ignore all the signs and warnings. ? Why wasn't that temporary restraining order issued sooner? Kiana clearly documented her fears and the threats she faced. It's devastating that her pleas for safety went unanswered until it was too late. This situation highlights the urgent need for our legal system to respond more rapidly and effectively in domestic violence cases. We need to push for better protection measures for victims who are in potentially dangerous situations like Kiana was. My heart goes out to Kiana’s family and friends, and I hope they find strength and support during this incredibly difficult time.
