I've been reading about the tragic case of Julio Angel Osife Diaz, and I feel compelled to share some thoughts on how deeply devastating this must be for his girlfriend. It's so tragic to think about her being there during the incident and trying to protect Julio. She was probably just trying to enjoy a night of celebration with him, and it turned into something out of a nightmare. Losing someone in such a violent way must be unbelievably hard to process, and I can’t imagine what she must be going through emotionally after witnessing the act and experiencing such a loss firsthand. I hope she has a strong support system around her as she navigates the aftermath of this senseless violence. Sending my thoughts to her as well as Julio's family. Nobody should have to endure something like this.
