The thing that breaks my heart about this case is the ripple effect it's had on the community. Da'Voncea Griffo's tragic death left not only his family and friends trying to pick up the pieces but also the entire Frogtown neighborhood grappling with the violence that erupted in their streets. It’s chilling to think about how this gathering, meant to celebrate, ended in such chaos and overwhelming sorrow. Something that really stood out to me from the investigation details is how the timing of Burke-Harris's involvement—if he indeed was involved—coincided with the anniversary of his release from prison. You’d think returning to prison would be the last thing someone would want on an anniversary like that. There’s a lot to unpack there—about intentions, second chances, and the pull of past lives. I can't help but feel for Da'Voncea’s family who are now left without their loved one. Sending love and strength to them as they navigate this painful journey. Such a senseless loss in a place we all call home.
