Has anyone looked into the area where the shooting took place? Tuscaloosa Avenue Southwest in Birmingham is quite a busy area, and I'm wondering if there might have been any surveillance cameras or other eyewitnesses who didn't come forward in the immediate aftermath. It's a shame when something like this happens in such populated spots because it feels like it should be easier to gather evidence or catch something on video. If there were any businesses with CCTV nearby, that footage could be crucial for understanding what led to this tragedy. And another thing that's been on my mind is the ShotSpotter system that detected the gunfire. Does anyone know how reliable that tech is? I've read mixed things in other cases, but maybe it provided some initial clues beyond just the notification. I hope it can at least narrow down the timeline or give some insight into how long the gunfire lasted. My heart goes out to Mark Jhawntee Louis's family; I can't imagine what they're going through right now. 💔 Anyone with insights on the neighborhood or tech like this, please share.
