I've been following the Thomas "TJ" George case since it broke, and I can't help but think about the little ones who are caught in the crossfire of all this tragedy. TJ's kids have lost their father in such a senseless act of violence. It's unimaginable what they must be going through right now, losing someone who was such a pivotal part of their lives. I read that TJ was deeply involved in their lives, and it's tragic to think that such innocent lives are now forever changed. The fact that custody exchanges, which are already emotionally charged, can spiral into violence so quickly is terrifying. I hope the families involved find the support they need to navigate this difficult time. And I really hope the system can protect other families from going through similar heartbreak. This senseless act didn't have to happen. My condolences to everyone affected, especially TJ's children.
