I've been reading more about Juan Castillo's case lately, and I keep thinking about how much potential was lost. It's frustrating when you see these cases not getting the answers they deserve. Durham has had too many families go through this kind of pain.
One thing that really strikes me about Juan’s story is how it highlights the struggle the community has faced with violence. It’s been over a decade now, and I can’t imagine how his loved ones must feel waiting for justice and closure. What really happened that night in 2011? How can more people be encouraged to speak up if they know something? I hope that by raising awareness, we can help push for answers. Keeping Juan and his family in my thoughts.
Hey everyone, I've been following Juan Castillo's case for a while and wanted to share a thought I've been mulling over. It's always bothered me how quickly these cases can go cold without enough public attention or leads. Durham has seen more than its fair share of violence, but each victim isn't just a statistic—they're part of a community.
Juan was only 26, just starting his adult life. I can't imagine the pain his family must be feeling, having no closure after all this time. The fact that the police still haven't found enough evidence is incredibly frustrating. To think someone out there knows something that could help solve this case is haunting.
I really hope those who have any information, no matter how small, come forward. It's so important for communities to work together to seek justice for Juan and others in similar situations. Love and strength to all his family and friends who've had to endure this terrible loss.
