I’ve been thinking a lot about the sheer chaos described at that party the night Desi was killed. It’s tough to imagine what it must have been like for all those people there who were expecting a night of fun and ended up in a nightmare. My heart truly goes out to everyone, especially the young people, who are now dealing with the trauma of witnessing such violence. Something I'm particularly curious about is how they managed the crowd in the immediate aftermath. With more than 300 people suddenly trying to flee, it must’ve been complete pandemonium. Officers arriving to that scene had a monumental task on their hands, trying to restore some semblance of order and attend to the wounded. I really hope that in efforts to piece together what happened, the witnesses who are understandably scared or confused find the courage to come forward. It's crucial not just for Desi's family but for everyone who was there that night. I'm praying that the investigation makes progress soon, and that justice for Desi and the others affected doesn’t remain elusive. It's so important that they find out what sparked such senseless violence and who was responsible. Please, if anyone knows anything or has any footage from that night, consider coming forward. The community deserves answers, and the Romero family deserves peace.
