It's absolutely devastating to think about Dayquan's family and friends dealing with the aftermath of such a senseless tragedy. I read somewhere that he was really involved in the local community—he used to volunteer at a nearby youth center. It's a cruel irony that someone who was actively working to create positive change in his neighborhood became a victim of the violence he was trying to combat. It's infuriating that while he was dedicating himself to helping others stay on the right path, his life was taken in this brutal way. I hope that the ongoing investigation yields results soon. It’s hard enough to lose someone, but I can’t imagine the added pain of not knowing why it happened. If anyone has any information, I sincerely hope they come forward. Dayquan deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve peace.
