Did anyone else catch the detail about how family members managed to restrain Solomon Fola until the police arrived? I can't imagine the mix of emotions they must have been going through—grief, anger, fear—yet they still found the strength to prevent him from escaping. It’s a testament to their courage during such a horrific moment. Family gatherings are supposed to be safe spaces, places of joy and celebration, not sites of tragedy. My heart goes out to all who were there that night, especially those who had to step into such a difficult role amid the chaos. I hope they have access to support and counseling to help them through the trauma they've endured. It’s gut-wrenching to think about how quickly a joyous event celebrating academic achievements turned into such a nightmare.
