Did anyone else find it odd how Ylenia's belongings, especially her passport, were just left behind in her hotel room? If she had plans to move on from New Orleans or even return to Italy, wouldn't her passport have been crucial? It makes me wonder if she intended to come back to the room or if something unexpected happened that night. The part about Masakela trying to use her traveler’s checks is also super weird. Was it just a crime of opportunity for him, or could there have been more to it? Every time I look into this case, it feels like there are so many loose ends that don't quite add up. Maybe there are more connections between these events that haven't been uncovered yet. What do you all think?
Hey everyone, I've been going through Ylenia Carrisi's case again and something that's been bugging me is the lack of clarity around that fateful night by the river. The security guard's account is chilling, but that's basically where the trail goes completely cold. Has anyone else been curious about the other people who might have been around that area? Did they see anything? It's such a public spot — hard to believe only one person allegedly saw or heard what happened.
Ylenia's belongings left in the hotel also make me wonder. If she really decided to stay longer, why didn't she have her personal items with her? Was she planning on returning that night? It's one of those frustrating cases where each detail just leads to more questions. I hope there's more information out there that hasn't been thoroughly explored yet. Thoughts?
