Has anyone else been following the case of McKinley Sawyer in Yazoo City? I’ve been thinking a lot about the community’s response since the tragic incident. I read that the mayor implemented a curfew following the event. I imagine it's a tough call trying to balance the community's safety with maintaining some sense of normality for residents. I hope it can help ease everyone’s fears and prevent further violence, but I also wonder how the community is feeling about this measure. Are people generally supportive, or is there pushback from those who feel it might not be enough? It’s such a difficult situation, and my heart goes out to McKinley’s family. They’ve lost so much, and now have to deal with the aftermath on top of everything else. If anyone's local to the area or has insight, I’d love to hear your thoughts on how things are on the ground there. And to McKinley’s family: I’m so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you’re going through, and I hope justice is served soon.
