I've been following the case of Tempess Lashelle Spivey, and something that caught my attention was the location where she was found. It's haunting to think she was discovered near Carver Elementary School. I just keep thinking about the impact on the community, especially the kids who go to that school. Schools should be safe spaces, and it’s unsettling to imagine something so tragic happening so close to where children gather every day. I feel deeply for Tempess's family, having lost their mother just a few months before. It's devastating to face such a series of losses in such a short span. As someone who treasures family connections, I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and stress they’re enduring, especially with not having immediate answers about why this happened. I hope the community can rally around them, providing support and comfort during this unbearable time. It's times like these that test our humanity, and my thoughts are with all who are suffering from this tragedy.
