Has anyone ever come across information about the delay in reporting Jeronimo Mendoza Rico missing? It seems unusual for the family to wait over six months before contacting authorities. I wonder if this might have impacted the investigation early on. Could there have been family dynamics or other reasons contributing to the delay? It's concerning that very few details have surfaced over the years about his disappearance. I'm curious if anyone else has any insight or thoughts on this aspect.

Hey everyone, I've been looking into the Jeronimo Mendoza Rico case from 1994 and noticed something that caught my attention. I find it curious that his family didn't report him missing until March 1995. That's more than six months after he disappeared. Why such a long delay? I know some families might wait in hopes their loved one will come back, or due to personal reasons, but six months seems like quite a stretch. It makes me wonder if there's more to the story that hasn't been made public. Maybe they thought he just needed some space or had a history of disappearing for periods before? Would love to hear your thoughts on why families might delay reporting someone missing, especially for that long.
