Something that’s been really tugging at my mind about Douglas Nelson’s murder is the kind of relationship he and Soshinque Barney White might have had. Living in a small community like Pickens, these types of interactions sometimes come with layers that the public often doesn't see. I can't help but wonder what might have transpired between them. Were they friends, acquaintances from around town, or perhaps something more? It’s haunting to think about how a familiar face can become linked to such tragedy. While there might be layers we’re all missing right now, I truly hope the investigation unveils the truth for everyone involved, especially for Mr. Nelson’s family.
