Did anyone else find it so chilling and surreal how easily Donald Harvey moved among the patients without raising alarms at Drake Memorial? The fact that Hilda Leitz and others were all under his care at some point is just haunting. Looking back, it's unimaginable to think of how vulnerable these patients were—trusting the very system and people that were supposed to be ensuring their safety. I can't even begin to fathom the shock and grief her family must have felt when they discovered what really happened. It's terrifying to think how long Harvey could have continued if it weren't for that routine autopsy on John Powell. My heart truly goes out to all the families who were affected by his actions.
