I can't stop thinking about the role of hospital staff in the Mose Thompson case. It's just chilling to realize that some employees at Drake Memorial Hospital noticed something was off, yet it seems nothing was done sooner. I understand how unpredictable a hospital environment can be, but multiple unexpected deaths occurring while Harvey was present should have set off more alarms. Imagine being a nurse or orderly, dedicating your life to care and healing, and then suspecting that a colleague might be doing the exact opposite. It must have been terrifying and conflicted. I can't help but feel for the staff who genuinely tried to save lives, only to find themselves working alongside someone secretly taking them. The entire situation is incredibly unsettling and reminds me of how crucial it is for hospitals to have stringent monitoring and reporting systems in place. It's too late for Mose and many others, but hopefully, lessons have been learned and preventive measures set up to stop anything like this from happening again. My heart goes out to Mose's family and friends and everyone else who was affected by Harvey's horrific actions.
