Has anyone else come across any information about a potential sighting of William Merceri near the Connecticut River? I remember reading something a while ago in a local newspaper about a fisherman mentioning a guy with a similar description hanging around there back in the late '90s. Not sure if it's credible or if it ever led anywhere, but I can't help but wonder if it was related. It's strange how people can just vanish without leaving a trace. It's frustrating to see so little attention given to his case over the years. Would be great if anyone local to that area could shed some light or at least remember something from that time!

Has anyone looked into the dental records angle in William Dennis Merceri’s case? Since he was missing all his upper teeth when he disappeared, I’d imagine that might be a key point of identification if remains were ever found. It’s unusual for someone relatively young to be in that situation, so it might stick out to someone who remembers him or noticed something off around that time. I feel like sometimes these small details can jog someone’s memory even years later. Anyone have more info on this or know if it’s being actively pursued?
