It's incredibly frustrating how Angelica Montano's initial report was dismissed by authorities. Her escape and survival were nothing short of miraculous, yet the lack of immediate action speaks volumes about the challenges victims often face in being believed. Montano's story was a significant turning point that helped to unravel Ray's sinister network. But it’s unsettling to think how many more victims there might have been had Cynthia Vigil not escaped and corroborated what Angelica bravely recounted months earlier. It just makes me think about how crucial it is for law enforcement and society to take these reports seriously from the get-go.
