Hey everyone, I've been reading up on William David Shannon's disappearance and something that puzzles me is the fact that his blue Pontiac, which was found near the Angeline Lake trailhead, didn't show any signs of distress or foul play. This makes me wonder if he might have just parked it there as planned and then something unexpected happened deep in the wilderness. It's chilling that his car seemed intact, yet not a single sign of him was ever found. Has anyone else looked into whether there have been similar cases in that area? Wondering if this spot is prone to sudden weather changes or dangerous wildlife that could catch even an experienced hiker off guard. Thoughts?
