Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Khandyn "KJ" Jones closely, and something that sticks with me is the immense outpouring of support we’ve seen from the Raleigh community. It’s truly touching to see how his teachers and classmates have come together during this unimaginably difficult time. The online fundraiser started by his teachers is such a testament to the bonds KJ had formed at Leesville Road High School. It’s heartwarming to witness a community rally to ease the burden on KJ’s family, allowing them to focus on their grieving without the added stress of unexpected expenses. Also, seeing "Long Live KJ" painted on the family home feels like such a powerful tribute. It speaks volumes about how much KJ meant to everyone who knew him, making sure his spirit remains alive. I hope this tragedy encourages deeper conversations about youth safety and the crucial role of community in prevention. If anyone else here is part of the Raleigh community or knows ways to support his family, please share. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless loss.
