I came across this case of Jalil Jones, and it really struck a chord with me. What stands out to me is his incredible courage. To think that at just 16, he stepped up to protect someone else is truly something. It's so disheartening to see how violence has seeped into the lives of our youth, turning simple disputes into something so tragic. I can't help but feel for Jalil's friends and family who must be going through unimaginable pain right now. I've been following the updates carefully. It's a bit of relief to know that the suspect has been caught, but it’s frustrating to think about how often these situations occur. It makes you question what we as a society are doing to prevent these precious young lives from being stolen away because of senseless violence. My thoughts are with Jalil’s loved ones and the entire community there as they try to make sense of this and find a way to heal.
