Did anyone else catch the detail about the police being called for a welfare check? I just can't stop thinking about who made that call. It breaks my heart to imagine a friend or family member worrying enough to ask for a check, only to find out something so awful had happened. Knowing that someone close to them felt concerned must have been really difficult for everyone involved. It’s one of those situations that haunts you—thinking if something was missed or if there could have been signs. My thoughts are with Michele’s relatives and friends who must be going through so much right now. It’s hard to process how such a tragedy could strike in a quiet town like Delta. Hopefully, the community can find some peace and healing in supporting each other through this.
