I can't stop thinking about that awful night in Minneapolis and the tragic loss of Deonta Lashawn Young. I feel so deeply for his family and friends; what a shock and devastating void this must have caused in their lives. I was reading about how the Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public’s help, and it just makes me wonder – who was in that area around the time of the shooting who might have seen or heard something? It feels like someone out there must have some crucial piece of information that could make all the difference. It’s tough knowing that there are still no arrests, but I hold out hope that justice will be served. If anyone has any insights or thoughts on how the community could come together to support the investigation, I'd love to hear them. Every effort to honor Deonta’s memory and seek justice seems worthwhile.
