I've been following the tragic case of Orlando Tobias, and it really makes me think about how vulnerable we all are, even in our daily routines. It's truly unsettling that he was targeted in broad daylight as he simply exited his vehicle. The attack seems so brazen, like the assailants felt no fear of getting caught. I can't imagine the shock his loved ones must be going through, trying to process such a sudden and violent loss. What's also striking to me is the location – South Claremont Avenue isn't exactly notorious, and yet, violence still found its way there. I'm hoping that there might have been surveillance cameras in the area that could provide some leads. It feels like in this digital age, there are more eyes than ever on the streets, but sometimes it seems like that doesn’t make a difference. It's frustrating that we still don't know much about who did this or why. My thoughts are with Orlando's family and the community – I hope they find the answers and justice they deserve soon.
