I'm honestly struggling to wrap my head around how quickly things escalated with Javion and Jadon. It's chilling to think about how a simple gun trade could turn into something so deadly. It has me thinking about the risks young people like Javion and Jadon face these days. Javion's life sounds like it was really on track; he had just graduated and was working at the Coca-Cola Warehouse. It's heartbreaking that such a bright future was ripped away from him so suddenly. Javion's family must be going through unimaginable pain, especially knowing that the person charged with his murder was someone he considered a friend. I just hope there's some learnings from all this about the dangers that come with firearms and how crucial it is to have peaceful resolutions to conflicts. My heart goes out to everyone who knew Javion. It's important we keep his memory alive and push for changes that ensure young lives aren't lost to violence.
