I've been following the tragic case of Jacorey Page, and while many have talked about the violence and the investigation, I wanted to focus on something that often gets overlooked: the ripple effect on the victims' families and friends. Can you imagine what his family is going through right now? Losing someone so young and so suddenly is unimaginably painful.
The community can be a pillar of support during these times, but I wonder if there's been any outreach or support groups forming to help them cope. Often, families left behind struggle with not only emotional grief but also the financial burden that comes with these tragedies. I hope that there are local organizations stepping up to assist them during such a difficult time.
For any of us watching this unfold, maybe we can think of ways to support not just through sharing information or hoping for justice but by making sure that those left in the wake of such senseless acts aren't forgotten. Has anyone in the area heard about local initiatives for victim support or memorials happening in Norfolk?
