Does anyone else feel like there's just so much we don't know about what led to this tragedy at the Cheviot Elks Lodge? I've been following this case ever since I heard about what happened to Juawaun Booker, and it just breaks my heart thinking about what his family must be going through right now. I can't even imagine the pain of losing a loved one so suddenly and violently. What strikes me is that the shooting happened in broad daylight, yet it feels like there are still no clear answers. It's been tough to keep up with what's true and what’s just speculation. It seems like one minute you hear a rumor about a possible motive, and the next it's like you're back to square one with no leads. I hope the police are able to piece together what happened soon. It's so frustrating to see communities caught in the grip of gun violence. This kind of chaos can so easily shatter the sense of safety that people work hard to build. I genuinely hope something good can come out of this terrible loss, like sparking a real conversation on preventive measures or encouraging witnesses to come forward. Juawaun deserves justice, and so do the other victims and their families. I really hope they're surrounded by people who can support them through this incredibly difficult time.
