I've been following the tragic case of Miracle McNeal and can't shake off this heavy feeling. It's unthinkable that such a promising young life was violently taken away, and it all happened in what should have been the safety of her home. Despite the community outcry, it seems like little progress has been made. I’ve been thinking a lot about how Detective Steele mentions the role of witnesses in solving these cases. It's so important that people who might know something, even if they think it's insignificant, step forward. Keeping information to oneself could mean the difference between justice achieved and a perpetrator remaining free. I know there's fear involved and understandable distrust in coming forward, but maybe someone who reads this has seen something or knows someone who has. Standing together as a community could bring about the much-needed change and give Miracle’s family the peace they deserve. Her life and memory deserve justice. Please share any information you might have, no matter how small it seems. Let's not let silence be the reason justice is delayed.
