Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Jeron D. Ellis, and one detail that's been on my mind is the role of the random bystanders who were around during the actual shooting. Some residents mentioned hearing the car speed away, but have any of them managed to get a look at who was in the vehicle or any other identifiable details about the car? It's a busy area, and it seems like there might have been more potential witnesses on the streets that day. Also, it's amazing how quickly police closed off the scene and collected evidence like the shell casings, but I wonder if any potential street cameras or business surveillance footage were captured or have been reviewed? With it being a Sunday afternoon, I imagine folks were out and about, so maybe someone caught something on their phone? My heart goes out to Jeron's family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through. I hope they find some peace and that justice comes sooner rather than later.
